Bringing Luxembourgish folk music for the first time at the international festival.
I am thrilled to announce that Authentica is set to perform at Celtic Connections in Glasgow, the UK's premier folk and roots music celebration! Running from January 18 to February 4, 2024, the internationally renowned festival brings together over 2,100 musicians from around the world in more than 300 events, ranging from concerts to ceilidhs, talks, art exhibitions, workshops and spontaneous sessions. This year the festival features artists like Angélique Kidjo, Fatoumata Diawara, Julie Fowlis, Alan Stivell, Tommy Emmanuel, Talisk, Altan and many many more from all corners of the globe.
Authentica will be playing a showcase performance at the Danny Kyle Open Stage at Glasgow's Royal Concert Hall on 28th January. The DKOS, a platform dedicated to discovering 'tomorrow's talent today,' was established in 1999 in memory of Danny Kyle. Authentica is honored to be part of this tradition!
