Due spettacoli che intrecciano leggende, storie e suoni incantati

Filosofo e performer teatrale, Cesare Catà porta in scena lezioni-spettacolo che raccontano grandi temi della tradizione letteraria e mitologica con l’ironia della stand-up comedy. In due date ad agosto, i suoi spettacoli saranno accompagnati dalla musica di Authentica, nome d'arte di Martina Menichetti, cantante, flautista e pianista italo-lussemburghese con radici umbre, che si esibirà dal vivo insieme a Catà.
Il primo appuntamento è giovedì 20 agosto, ore 21.30, a Porto San Giorgio (Rocca Tiepolo), con "Il Labirinto e l'Abbandono", dedicato al mito di Arianna e Teseo. Si prosegue lunedì 24 agosto, ore 21.30, a Porto Sant'Elpidio (Torre dell'Orologio), con "Ginevra Ne Vale La Pena", lezione-spettacolo sul corteggiamento e la cavalleria.
La musica folk di Authentica erompe tra il calore di ritmi solari e l'eco di melodie antiche, dando nuova voce a storie, miti e memorie collettive, tra composizioni originali e arrangiamenti di tradizione popolare di varie culture. Il suo percorso artistico l'ha portata a esibirsi al celebre festival Celtic Connections di Glasgow, dove è stata la prima artista lussemburghese a farlo, e all'Heraklion Festival di Creta.

The words of Cesare Catà meet the music of Authentica in two performances that weave together myths, stories, and enchanted sounds.
Italian philosopher and theatrical performer Cesare Catà brings to the stage lecture-performances that explore major themes of literary and mythological tradition with the wit of stand-up comedy. On two dates in August, his performances will be accompanied live by the music of Authentica, the stage name of Martina Menichetti, an Italian-Luxembourgish singer, flutist, and pianist with Umbrian roots.
The first date is Thursday, August 20, 9:30 PM, at Porto San Giorgio (Rocca Tiepolo), with "Il Labirinto e l'Abbandono" ("The Labyrinth and the Abandonment"), dedicated to the myth of Ariadne and Theseus. The second follows on Monday, August 24, 9:30 PM, at Porto Sant'Elpidio (Torre dell'Orologio), with "Ginevra Ne Vale La Pena" ("Guinevere Is Worth It"), a lecture-performance on courtship and chivalry.
Authentica's folk music erupts between the warmth of sun-drenched rhythms and the echo of ancient melodies, giving new voice to stories, myths, and collective memories, through original compositions and arrangements rooted in the folk traditions of various cultures. Her artistic path has taken her to perform at the celebrated Celtic Connections festival in Glasgow — where she was the first Luxembourgish artist to do so — and at the Heraklion Festival in Crete.
