Folk and worldwide trad fusion
Authentica is the stage name of Martina Menichetti, a versatile Italian-Luxembourgish singer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist who blends folk and global traditional music with an energetic stage presence. Her music serves as a cultural bridge, introducing Luxembourg's folk music to international audiences. Martina explores ancient tunes, stories and legends with a contemporary perspective, infusing them with the richness of flutes, evocative soundscapes, guitars, and dance-inducing percussion. Strongly influenced by Celtic and Latin music, her sound is uniquely enriched by her fluency in seven languages.
Martina has performed with artists like Carlos Núñez, Dan Ar Braz, Anxo Lorenzo, she was a member of the band Dullemajik and has performed on stages like Celtic Connections festival at the Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow UK, at the Luxembourg Philharmonic Concert Hall, TEDx, and Zeltik Celebration, opening for artists like Sharon Shannon, Mànran, Skipinnish, Startijenn, Gwennyn and Red Cardell.
Authentica is proudly supported by the Luxembourg national organizations Oeuvre and Kultur|LX.

Authentica est le nom d’artiste de Martina Menichetti, une chanteuse, compositrice et multi-instrumentiste italo-luxembourgeoise polyvalente, avec une présence scénique énergique. Sa musique sert de pont culturel, introduisant la musique folklorique du Luxembourg à un public international. Martina explore les mélodies anciennes, les récits et légendes avec une perspective contemporaine, les imprégnant de la richesse des flûtes, de paysages sonores évocateurs, des guitares et des percussions entraînantes. Authentica ist der Künstlername von Martina Menichetti, einer vielseitigen Sängerin, Komponistin und Multi-Instrumentalistin aus Italien und Luxemburg. Mit ihrer energiegeladenen Bühnenpräsenz zelebriert sie Folk- und traditionelle Klänge aus aller Welt, während ihre Musik als kulturelle Brücke dient und Luxemburgs Volksmusik einem internationalen Publikum näher bringt. Martina erforscht alte Melodien, Geschichten und Legenden aus einer heutigen Sicht und verleiht ihnen eine besondere Intensität durch die Vielfalt von Flöten, eindrucksvollen Klanglandschaften, Gitarren und mitreißenden Percussions, die zum Tanzen einladen. Ihr Klang ist stark von keltischer und lateinamerikanischer Musik beeinflusst und wird durch ihre fließende Beherrschung von sieben Sprachen einzigartig bereichert.
Martina hat bereits mit Künstlern wie Carlos Núñez, Dan Ar Braz und Anxo Lorenzo zusammengearbeitet.
