On Wednesday 23 September, experience a night where European folk traditions meet on stage in Luxembourg City.
The night opens with a concert set, warm and atmospheric. Then the floor opens up into a bal folk, the communal folk dances that have been bringing people together across Europe for generations: no partner or experience needed, just simple steps picked up along the way, danced in circles and lines to live music.
Guests of the evening are Belgium's Hartwin Trio, making a stop in Luxembourg as part of their European tour. Renowned for their cinematic instrumental folk, they've captivated audiences on stages across the continent. Hosting the night is Authentica, with songs and dances from Luxembourg and Italy, making Celtic and Mediterranean sounds meet, having already enchanted stages across Luxembourg and beyond.
A radiant, energy-filled evening to experience live, as part of European Folk Day, an annual initiative of the European Folk Network.

Mercredi 23 septembre, vivez une soirée où les traditions du folk européen se rencontrent sur scène à Luxembourg-Ville.
La soirée s'ouvre avec un concert, chaleureux et empreint d'ambiance. Puis la piste s'ouvre pour un bal folk, avec les danses traditionnelles collectives qui rassemblent les gens à travers l'Europe depuis des générations : aucun partenaire ni expérience requise, juste des pas simples que l'on apprend au fil de la soirée, dansés en rondes et en cortèges sur de la musique live.
Les invités de la soirée sont le Hartwin Trio, venu de Belgique dans le cadre de leur tournée européenne. Reconnus pour leur folk instrumental cinématographique, ils ont conquis les scènes à travers tout le continent. La soirée est conçue par Authentica, qui à son tour anime la scène avec des chants et des danses du Luxembourg et d'Italie, mêlant sonorités celtiques et méditerranéennes, et ayant déjà enchanté de nombreuses scènes au Luxembourg et au-delà.
Une soirée radieuse et pleine d'énergie à vivre en live, dans le cadre de la Journée Européenne du Folk, une initiative annuelle du European Folk Network.
